In the United States, the earth is private. So is the wind. This is the root of American power.

Wealth comes from selling the wind and the soil. When an author sells a book, he or she is not really selling a book. They are buying the wind stolen by machines like this and harnessing the life energy they have made by living within it, and selling it again. If magnified, American authors would look like the wheat fields (formally brush steppe, rich with grouse and antelope) above.
