Five Windows (or Graffiti and the Mona Lisa)

The point of a painting, such as the Mona Lisa is to look at yourself in a mirror and catch a glimpse of your soul. This rule applies to contemporary art as well.

This rule also holds: more people visited the Mona Lisa after it was stolen in 1911 to view the space on the wall where it had hung than had ever viewed it while it was hanging there. The change is that now it is a city worker who steals the painting (and so completes it).
