Every act of tagging is a theatrical performance. Once the actor has left, the performance leaves a ghost on an empty stage.

By walking through this stage, you are cast in the script laid down by its architecture. The performance itself is unreachable. It is receding from you at the speed of light. It matters not. You remain on stage. There is no audience. If you were to applaud, it would echo, hollowly.
